Deviled Eggs Recipe: 6 Perfect Halves

Deviled eggs are a classic, perfect for almost any occasion – and a staple at any backyard barbecue. Easy to make, these delicious finger-foods are always a crowd-pleaser. 

Once you've filled all your egg halves, sprinkle them with a little bit of paprika for color. If you want to get really fancy, you can add a small piece of cooked bacon or a sprig of fresh dill on top of each egg.


  • 3 eggs 
  • 1 tbsp light mayonnaise 
  • ½ tsp dijon mustard 
  • 1 pinch paprika 
  • 1 pinch salt 
  • 1 pinch pepper 


  1. Boil eggs for 12 minutes and then cool in cold water. 
  2. Peel eggs. Cut in half and scoop out egg yolks into a small bowl. 
  3. Mix with mayonnaise, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. 
  4. Add a spoonful of mixture back into egg white halves and serve.
